Hospis Malaysia holds a special place in my heart. In my father’s final moments, their care brought comfort, dignity, and compassion not only to him, but to our entire family. Their presence eased the pain and uncertainty of those days, offering both medical and emotional support when we needed it most.
This page is dedicated to them, in loving memory of my father, Richard Ng. Through the rhythm of his hiking up Mount KK, the cast of his line over the waters, and the joy he found beneath open skies, I learned. My photography is a tribute to the nature he loved — and to the love that shaped my eyes.

Hospis Malaysia is a charitable organisation providing professional community palliative care to people living with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, AIDS, organ failure, or progressive neurological conditions. Independent of political, religious, governmental, or private groups, Hospis Malaysia is led by a team of dedicated medical professionals, supported by administrative staff and volunteer professionals.
All their services are offered free-of-charge to patients and their families. Their mission is to ensure every Malaysian has access to palliative care when needed, enhancing the quality of life for patients by treating not just the medical, but also the psychological and emotional needs that arise. Their care extends to family members as well, offering comfort and guidance through challenging times.
Hospis Malaysia also plays a leading role in education, advocacy, and research to strengthen palliative care services across Malaysia. Their vision is to make high-quality, evidence-based palliative care accessible to everyone in need, with values grounded in integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.
